How sending works

From the moment you create a delivery to the moment it is in the receiver's hands.

If you are sending

  1. Create the delivery

In the app, describe the item, choose where it is collected and give the receiver's name and phone number.

  2. See the price and confirm

The app shows the full price before you confirm. Nothing is charged until you do.

  3. Hand it over with your pickup code

The rider checks the item and enters your pickup code. Only then is it on its way.

If you are receiving

  1. You get an SMS

It tells you who is sending, what, and has a link to follow the delivery. You do not need the app.

  2. Answer if you are asked to

If you are paying for the delivery, open the link, confirm with the code we send to your phone, and accept or decline.

  3. Receive it with your delivery code

When the rider arrives, check the item first. Then give your delivery code.

Who pays

Usually the sender pays in the app with mobile money. A sender can also ask the receiver to pay for the delivery. The receiver then accepts first, and pays online or, where it is offered, in cash to the rider when the item arrives.

Safety at every hand-over

  • The pickup code

Shown to the sender in the app. The rider needs it to collect the item.

  • The delivery code

Sent to the receiver by SMS once the item is picked up. Give it to the rider only after you have the item.

  • What you may not send

Illegal, dangerous or prohibited items are refused. The app shows the categories you can send, and the rider inspects the item at pickup.

If something goes wrong

  • The receiver cannot be reached

The rider tries to reach them and waits. If the delivery still cannot be made, our team decides whether to try again or return the item.

  • Returns

A returned item comes back to where it was collected. The sender gets a return code for the rider.

  • Reporting a problem

Senders report a problem from the app. Receivers can report from the delivery link, including a request they did not want.
