Sending
The app shows the full price before you confirm. It depends on the distance and the size of the item.
One item per delivery, in the categories the app lists. Illegal, dangerous and prohibited items are refused, and the rider inspects the item at pickup.
A 6-digit code shown to you in the app. The rider enters it when collecting the item, so it cannot be collected by anyone else.
Yes, from the app. Whether a fee applies depends on how far the delivery has gone; the app tells you before you confirm the cancellation.
Where it is offered, yes. The receiver gets an SMS, accepts the delivery and pays online or in cash to the rider.
Receiving
No. You get an SMS with a link to follow the delivery, and your delivery code by SMS once the item is picked up.
Only after the item is in your hands and you have checked it. The code is the proof that you received it.
To make sure the person accepting, declining or paying is the owner of the phone the sender named. A forwarded link is not enough.
Open the link in the SMS, decline the request, and report it as unwanted. You can also stop that sender from sending you requests.
Links stop working some time after a delivery ends, or when the receiver's number is changed. If you are still expecting a delivery, ask the sender.
Businesses
Contact us and tell us about your business. Lomi reviews every business before it can send.
Yes. You invite the people you work with, and each has their own sign-in.
Riders
Your national ID, driving licence, proof of vehicle ownership, a photo of the vehicle and a selfie. You add them in the Lomi rider app.
Our team reviews your documents and the rider app tells you when you are approved, or what is missing.
